Agriculture College Act

The purpose of the College is to be the Centre for the training of farmers and acquisition of farming technologies and skills for enhancing agriculture production and in so doing contributing to the economic and social development of Vanuatu.
The Functions of the Agriculture College
The College has the following functions:
- to provide the population of Vanuatu with efficient and effective technical, vocational and continuing agricultural training that is responsive to the needs of the primary industry, students and the general community at large;
- to play a leadership and coordinating role in the technical, vocational and continuing education in the sectors of agriculture, forestry, fisheries and livestock and in agro-enterprises;
- to facilitate the training of farmers and enhance their knowledge and skills and work cooperatively with the Ministry, Ministry of Education and other technical, vocational and continuing educational providers;

Vanuatu Agriculture Research and Technical Center Act

- The Vanuatu Agricultural Research and Technical Centre is established.
- The Centre consists of the members of the Board and the officers of the Centre and is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal.
- The Centre may acquire, hold and dispose of real and personal property and is capable of suing and being sued in its corporate name.
- All courts, judges and persons acting judicially are to take judicial notice of the seal of the Centre affixed to any document and are to presume that it was duly affixed.

Copra Inspection Act

There shall be appointed an officer of the Agricultural Department to be a produce inspector.
Every produce inspector shall have the right of access to any plantation, premises, vessel or any other place having copra stored therein for the purpose of inspecting the same:
Provided that the said right of access shall only be exercised after due notice of the intention to do so has been given to the owner or occupier of the plantation, premises, vessel or any other place aforesaid.

Cocoa Act

Provided that the said right of access shall only be exercised after due notice of the intention to do so has been given to the owner or occupier of the plantation, premises, vessel or any other place aforesaid.
The burden of proof that any cacao beans are or have been used or are intended for use at any particular time as seed material lies on the person alleging it.
